1. Veganism, Black Magic, and Contemporary Pagan Practices
In this inaugural episode of Tansy Talk Radio, I share the story of a duck whose slaughter I witnessed and whose spirit guided me to a deeper vegan and pagan practice.
I also consider animal agriculture and other expressions of modern civilization as a form of black magic (borrowing a definition from the 2013 version of Donald Michael Kraig's book Modern Magick: Twelve Lessons in the High Magical Arts), while proposing a new kind of spell we can cast in our care for one another across species and class boundaries.
