2. The IPCC Report and Vegan, Pagan Resilience
In this episode, I talk about the recent IPCC report on what is necessary to adapt to coming climate change. While the IPCC advises a ‘flexitarian’ diet, I talk about veganism as a more reasonable strategy for decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, and as a more material means of dismantling one of the largest and most destructive capitalist, colonialist industries in the world.
Veganism can be and on smaller levels already is a starting point for permaculture design, local and accessible food movements, post-industrial medicine, and resilience for both our planet and communities. In partnership with a Pagan revival of subtle awareness of the world, I’m aiming for an optimistic future as the capitalist world crumbles.
